Rules of conduct in case of fire
The Norilsk Hotel has a modern fire protection system. Our trained employees carry out fire control around the clock. For your peace of mind and safety in the event of a fire or emergency, please read this leaflet carefully.
Plans for evacuation in case of fire in the Norilsk Hotel are located in the halls on each floor.
Remember:
- careless handling of fire can lead to serious consequences;
- do not smoke in the room, corridor, hall, elevator cabin;
- do not forget to turn off floor lamps and table lamps, do not cover them with objects made of combustible material;
- do not store flammable substances and materials in the room.
Anticipate:
- when you check into the Hotel, determine where you are, study the evacuation plan, make a mental map of the exits closest to your room;
- count the number of doorways between your room and exits to the stairs; try to open the door of your room in the dark.
If there is a fire in your room:
- keep calm;
- immediately notify the fire brigade by calling 101 (the following: Norilsk Hotel, floor, room number where the fire occurred);
- notify the hotel staff of the fire brigade in person or by phone: 100 or +7 (3919) 34-99-30
- try to extinguish the fire with primary fire extinguishing means;
- if it is impossible to eliminate the fire, then tightly close the windows, take your belongings, leave the room, closing the door tightly behind you, but without locking the lock, and go to a safe place;
- when an evacuation is announced, leave the building using the emergency exit;
- climb up towards the roof should only be when this is the only way to escape;
If there is a fire on the floor:
- leave your room after closing windows and doors;
- if the corridor and stairwells are heavily smoky and it is not possible to leave the premises, stay in your room in your room; to avoid smoke poisoning, fill the tub with water; soak sheets and towels in water; pour water over a hot door and walls;
- use the phone to ask for help, dial 100 or +7 (3919) 34-99-30 and report your location;
- windows in the room can only be opened if there is no smoke in the outside air; close the windows if smoke starts to enter your room from outside;
- in case of fire, it is strictly forbidden to use elevators, use the emergency exits.
